Content / Composition:
Each 5 ml contains:
* Liquid Paraffin …… 1.25 ml
* Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) …… 3.75 ml
* Sodium Picosulfate …… 3.33 mg (or equivalent as per formulation)
Available pack: 120 ml oral suspension
Indications:
Indicated for the relief of constipation, including:
* Occasional and chronic constipation
* Hard stools and difficulty in bowel movement
* Bowel regulation in elderly patients
* Pre- and post-operative bowel management
* Constipation associated with hemorrhoids
Dosage:
Adults:
10–15 ml at bedtime or as directed by physician
Children:
5–10 ml (depending on age and physician advice)
(Dose should be adjusted according to response)
Contraindications:
* Hypersensitivity to any component
* Intestinal obstruction or acute abdomen
* Severe dehydration
* Appendicitis or undiagnosed abdominal pain
Administration:
For oral use.
Shake well before use.
Take preferably at bedtime with water.
Ensure adequate fluid intake.
Interaction:
Use caution with:
* Other laxatives (may cause excessive bowel activity)
* Antibiotics (may alter intestinal flora)
* Diuretics (risk of electrolyte imbalance)
* Drugs dependent on electrolyte balance
Compatibility:
Compatible with dietary fiber therapy and hydration measures.
Avoid unnecessary combination with multiple laxatives.

Store below 25°C.
