Content / Composition:
Each 5 mL contains:
* Dextromethorphan HBr …… 10 mg
* Glycerin (demulcent & soothing agent)
* Flavored syrup base

Indications:
* Dry cough (non-productive cough)
* Throat irritation
* Cough due to upper respiratory tract infections
* Allergic cough
* Night-time cough
Dosage:
As directed by the physician
Adults:
* 5–10 mL, 2–3 times daily
Children (6–12 years):
* 2.5–5 mL, 2–3 times daily
Children (<6 years):
* Only under medical supervision
Contraindications:
* Hypersensitivity to dextromethorphan
* Concurrent use with MAO inhibitors (within 14 days) ❗
* Severe respiratory insufficiency
Administration:
* Oral use
* Shake well before use
* Can be taken with or without food
* Use measuring cup/spoon
Interaction:
* MAO inhibitors → risk of serotonin syndrome ❗
* SSRIs / antidepressants → increased serotonin toxicity
* Alcohol → enhances CNS effects
* Sedatives → additive CNS depression
