Indications:
* Fever (Pyrexia) in children & adults
* Mild to moderate pain
* Headache

* Sore throat
* Musculoskeletal pain
* Post-vaccination fever
* Cold & flu symptoms
Dosage:
As directed by the physician
Children:
* 10–15 mg/kg per dose every 4–6 hours
(Maximum: 60 mg/kg/day)
Adults:
* 500–1000 mg every 4–6 hours
(Maximum: 4000 mg/day)
Contraindications:
* Hypersensitivity to paracetamol
* Severe hepatic impairment
* Chronic alcohol dependence (use with caution)
Administration:
* Oral use
* Shake well before use
* Can be taken with or without food
* Use calibrated measuring device
Interaction:
* Warfarin → prolonged use increases bleeding risk
* Alcohol → increases hepatotoxicity risk
* Enzyme inducers (e.g., rifampicin, phenytoin) → reduced efficacy
Compatibility:
* Compatible with ibuprofen (alternating regimen under supervision)
