Generic Name:

Content / Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
* Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride …… 5 mg
* Montelukast Sodium …… 10 mg
Indications:
Indicated for the treatment of allergic and inflammatory conditions, including:
* Allergic Rhinitis (seasonal & perennial)
* Chronic Urticaria (hives)
* Nasal congestion and runny nose
* Sneezing and itching
* Allergic respiratory disorders
* Adjunct therapy in bronchial asthma
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents (≥12 years):
One tablet once daily, preferably in the evening or as directed by physician.
Contraindications:
* Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine, montelukast, or any component
* Severe renal impairment (for levocetirizine – dose adjustment required)
* Known allergy to piperazine derivatives
Administration:
For oral use.
Swallow tablet with water.
May be taken with or without food.
Interaction:
Use caution with:
* CNS depressants (may enhance drowsiness)
* Alcohol (avoid due to increased sedation)
* Theophylline (may affect montelukast levels slightly)
* Other antihistamines
Compatibility:
Compatible with standard anti-allergic and respiratory therapies.
Can be used alongside inhalers and asthma medications under medical supervision.
Stability / Storage:
Store below 25°C.
Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children.
Precautions:
* May cause mild drowsiness (especially levocetirizine)
* Use cautiously in renal impairment
* Monitor for neuropsychiatric symptoms (rare with montelukast)
* Not for acute asthma attack relief
