Content / Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
Azithromycin Dihydrate equivalent to Azithromycin 250 mg.
Indications:
Used for susceptible bacterial infections, including upper and lower respiratory tract infections, throat/tonsil infections, ear infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and some urogenital infections. It should be used only when bacterial infection is proven or strongly suspected. �

Dosage:
As directed by the physician. Common adult regimens include 500 mg on Day 1, followed by 250 mg once daily on Days 2–5, or other physician-prescribed regimens depending on infection type. �

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin, other macrolide/ketolide antibiotics, or any ingredient of the product. Avoid in patients with previous cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction associated with azithromycin. �

Administration:
For oral use. Swallow with water. May be taken with or without food. Complete the full course as prescribed.
Interaction:
Use caution with antacids, warfarin, digoxin, phenytoin, cyclosporine, nelfinavir, and medicines that prolong QT interval. �

Compatibility:
Compatible with routine oral administration; do not combine with other antibiotics or high-risk cardiac/QT-prolonging medicines unless prescribed by a physician.
Stability / Storage:
Store below 25°C or as per approved stability data. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Precautions:
Use with caution in liver disease, kidney impairment, heart rhythm disorders, low potassium/magnesium, elderly patients, and pregnancy/lactation only if prescribed. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction, severe diarrhea, jaundice, or heart rhythm symptoms occur. �

Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, rash, taste disturbance. Rare but serious: allergic reaction, liver injury, QT prolongation/arrhythmia, and severe diarrhea. �
